Dear ISA Members,

Greetings! Ndewo nu o!

The ISA Summit at the Greatwood Hotels, Owerri, Imo State, Nigeria, has come and gone, but will probably never leave our memory as one of the most fruitful and enjoyable conferences of the Igbo Studies Association yet. It is my belief that everyone has returned safely to home base, having not heard anything to the contrary. We are grateful to Chukwu for journey mercy to Owerri and back.

On behalf of the Executive Management Team, I attach a 2017 Post-Conference Survey and a Communiqué for your attention. Please peruse the Communiqué to apprize you of the highlights of our outing to Owerri. Then, please fill out the Survey and return it promptly to the ISA Public Relations Officer, Professor Chidi Igwe ([email protected]), copied to the following other officers of the Association: Secretary, Professor Ogechi Anyanwu ([email protected]), and Convener/Program Chairperson, Professor Douglas Chambers ([email protected]).

The Convener/Program Chairperson, at the earliest, will contact you with a CALL FOR PAPERS (CFP) for the next annual conference and meeting at the Dominican University, River Forest, USA, May 9-12, 2018.
