Biography
Chimeremeze Nwafọ Victor is a writer, researcher, and editor with scholarly interests spanning feminism, effeminacy, education, Igbo society, history, literature, language, and creative writing. A student and independent scholar, his work explores the intersections of culture, identity, gender, and social development within both Igbo and more extensive African contexts.
His areas of specialization within Igbo studies include Igbo literature and the Igbo language. He is particularly interested in examining how language, storytelling, and cultural traditions shape contemporary understandings of identity and social values.
Chieremeze is the author of Omekanwanyị: Examining Softness, Effeminacy, and the Making of a Man, published by the Igbo Studies Association. Through his research and writing, he seeks to contribute to critical conversations on culture, gender, and the evolving realities of Igbo society. He is currently an independent researcher and is not institutionally affiliated.
