Igbo Studies Association Newsletter
Volume 4, Number 1, Winter 2017
Dear Colleagues and Friends,
It is with great enthusiasm that we present the Winter 2017 edition of the Igbo Studies Association (ISA) Newsletter. This publication continues our tradition of fostering scholarly research, cultural discussions, and intellectual engagement centered on Igbo history, language, and society. Through this platform, we aim to inform, inspire, and strengthen our community’s commitment to advancing Igbo studies globally.
In this issue, we showcase a rich collection of articles, research highlights, and reflections on contemporary issues impacting the Igbo people, both in Nigeria and the diaspora. Additionally, we provide updates on ISA activities, conferences, and upcoming opportunities for collaboration among scholars and practitioners dedicated to the study of Igbo culture and heritage.
We extend our deepest appreciation to all contributors, reviewers, and supporters who make this publication possible. Your dedication and insights continue to enrich our work and propel the mission of ISA forward. We encourage all members to engage with the content, share their perspectives, and consider contributing to future editions of this newsletter.
Thank you for being an integral part of the Igbo Studies Association. We hope this issue serves as a valuable resource and a catalyst for further discussions and collaborations.
Sincerely,
Chidi Igwe, PhD
